About Us: Flash Widgets, L.L.C.

We develop custom mobile solutions and products for some of the largest handset makers and carriers in the world. Our primary business is Adobe Flash Lite development. We have a passion for all things mobile and we pour this love for what we do into our work. Our mission is to provide our clients with products and services that obtain unsurpassed engaging mobile user experiences.

Chief Executive Officer: Kirk Ballou

Kirk Ballou is the founder and Chief Architect at Flash Widgets. With over 10 years of industry experience he brings with him not just the cutting edge skills that attract large clients, but also a solid knowledge base that keeps clients coming back time and again. Kirk has worked with some of the worlds largest and well known companies such as Verizon, Hewlitt Packard, and Adobe to name a few.

Recently his expertise has landed him world wide recognition in his field as Nokia awarded him the title of Forum Nokia Champion- an award reserved for the worlds top mobile developers for Symbian and Flash Lite platforms. Kirk was recently the recipient of an Open Screen Fund award which he used to develop Twittle, a twitter client currently available in the Nokia OVI store. After founding Flash Widgets in 2005 Kirk invented a patent pending mobile search algorithm termed Live Data Search which eventually led to creating custom solutions for the worlds largest mobile carriers and providers.


Creative Director: Frank Mesina

As a senior creative with sixteen years of design experience Frank has used his creative problem-solving skills to serve the needs of clients such as Acura, Paramount Pictures, Nokia, Virgin Records, AOL Time Warner and Campbell’s Soup Company. Frank's primary focus has been producing UI designs for the digital space that differentiate clients' products in the marketplace.
